How we pick gifts

Every product in every guide goes through the same process. We research the category, compare the realistic options, check that reviews are strong and recent (we look for at least a 4.0 rating with a meaningful number of reviewers), and confirm the product is in stock at a sane price before it appears here. We re-check every recommendation on a regular schedule and retire anything that slipped.

Two honesty rules we never break. First, every pick includes a caveat, because every product has one and pretending otherwise is how you end up with a gift that disappoints. Second, we tell you we earn a commission: when you buy through our links, Amazon pays us a small percentage at no extra cost to you. That is the entire business model.
